Welcome to OakPoint Hoboken Tree Services. By using our services, you agree to these terms. Please read them carefully before booking any tree care services with us.

Acceptance of Terms

By contacting us, requesting a quote, or hiring OakPoint Hoboken Tree Services for any tree care work, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use our services.

Services Provided

OakPoint Hoboken Tree Services offers professional tree care services including tree removal, trimming, pruning, stump grinding, emergency services, land clearing, tree health maintenance, arborist consulting, and shrub and hedge trimming. All services are performed by trained professionals using industry-standard equipment and safety practices.

We reserve the right to refuse service if we determine that the work requested is unsafe, illegal, or outside the scope of our expertise.

Quotes and Pricing

All quotes are estimates based on the information you provide and our initial assessment. Final pricing may vary if we discover additional work is needed once the job begins. We will inform you of any price changes before proceeding with additional work.

Quotes are valid for 30 days from the date issued. After this period, we may need to reassess the job and provide a new quote.

Payment Terms

Payment is due upon completion of services unless other arrangements have been made in advance. We accept cash, check, and major credit cards. For larger projects, we may require a deposit before starting work.

Late payments may be subject to interest charges of 1.5% per month or the maximum rate allowed by law, whichever is less.

Scheduling and Cancellations

We will do our best to arrive within the scheduled time window. However, weather conditions, equipment issues, or other unforeseen circumstances may cause delays. We will contact you as soon as possible if we need to reschedule.

If you need to cancel or reschedule, please give us at least 24 hours notice. Cancellations with less than 24 hours notice may be subject to a cancellation fee.

Property Access and Preparation

You are responsible for providing clear access to the work area and for removing or protecting any items that could be damaged during our work. This includes lawn furniture, decorations, vehicles, and outdoor equipment.

Please inform us of any underground utilities, sprinkler systems, or other hidden obstacles before we begin work. We are not responsible for damage to unmarked utilities or obstacles.

Permits and Regulations

You are responsible for obtaining any necessary permits for tree removal or other work on your property. We can provide guidance on when permits are required, but the responsibility for securing them rests with the property owner.

Liability and Insurance

OakPoint Hoboken Tree Services carries general liability insurance and workers compensation insurance. We are not liable for pre-existing damage to your property or for damage caused by factors beyond our control, such as hidden defects in trees or extreme weather conditions.

Our liability is limited to the cost of the services provided. We are not responsible for consequential or indirect damages.

Cleanup and Debris Removal

Unless otherwise specified in your quote, we will remove all branches, logs, and debris generated by our work. We will also rake and clean the work area to leave your property in good condition.

If you choose to keep any wood or materials, you must notify us before we begin work. Wood left on your property is your responsibility to manage.

Warranty

We stand behind the quality of our work. If you are not satisfied with our services, please contact us within 7 days and we will work with you to resolve any issues.

We do not warranty against natural events such as storms, disease, or pest infestations that occur after our work is completed.

Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms of Service at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. Your continued use of our services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
